PURIFYING
"Absolute Purity, absolute Light and absolute
Freedom should reign among you. This is what the Great White Brotherhood
requires of you. Let absolute Purity, absolute Light, absolute Truth and
Freedom be the ideal of your souls. Aim for this ideal so that you may
solve the tasks which the Intelligent World has given you."
"For man to be healthy spiritually, i.e. psychically, he should feed
himself with pure thoughts and feelings. For this reason, Christ has said:
'If you do not eat my Body and drink my Blood, you do not have Life Eternal.'
Christ's Body and Blood refer to the living Word of Supreme Consciousness.
If the Word of Supreme Consciousness does not penetrate man and become
his flesh and blood, he cannot manifest the good in him: he cannot be spiritual.
The Word is something powerful."
One moves the tips of one's fingers from the lips outwards, at the same time, blowing gently. The blowing of the air signifies the Word, and the moving of the arms outwards represents sowing the seeds of the Word. This exercise speaks about the receiving of the Word and its sowing. It expresses that the Word of Higher Consciousness which is given through language needs to be sown. The pure Word is introduced into life and thence into thoughts, feelings and actions.
