3. GIVING

"Giving is one of the great processes in nature."

"On the physical plane, God manifests Himself through giving. Therefore, you too should be generous like God."

"Give generously of yourselves until your love begins to return to you according to the Law of Opulence. This conscious sharing of love will bring the salvation for which you are awaiting. Give and do not fear."

"One of the qualities of the Great Love is giving. By developing this quality, you will keep the Divine within yourselves."

"Abide the Law: you receive freely, and you will give freely. In other words: as you receive from God, so too, you need to give. You receive knowledge, peace and joy. You need to give these to others also. There exists in man an inner impulse to give. He should not suppress this impulse. For if he gives freely, he will also be freely given to. The moment in which you make the decision to live in this way, you will enjoy the help of all good and Evolved Beings on the face of the earth."

"If you give, you will be given to. This Law is called the Law of the Universal Abundance."

"You give much; you will receive much. You give little; you will receive little. You sow much; you will reap much. You sow little; you will gain little. Such is the Law."

"One needs to be thankful in order to make the giving, as well as the receiving, meaningful and properly beneficial. The energy which flows through him who gives and through him who receives is Divine and is accounted for. It should not and cannot be uselessly wasted."

In this exercise, the hands are moved forward and then brought back to the chest. This shows how one can make the proper exchange between the inner and the outer worlds, between the human being and nature. Everything that one has received from nature one must process and then give forth. These movements work miraculously on one's personal growth because they promote a strong impulse for giving to the world. Through them, people come to understand the great idea of giving and receiving. These movements are highly idealistic. They awaken in people virtues which will be the foundation of the future culture: the culture of giving, sacrificing and self-renunciation for the benefit of our neighbors. Through these movements, people come into contact with forces which they have never thought about before. Through them, one will enter into the world of abundance. The more that one gives, the more one will receive. If a person is like a full vessel whose content is not emptied, he can accept nothing more from the outside. As soon as the vessel is emptied, it may be filled anew. Everything that a person receives must be given forth in order that he can partake in the new. This is a process of deliberation, renewal, growth, joy and strength. If the wellspring does not continuously give what it receives, it will not be able to receive fresh new streams. It would be like a stagnant swamp. What a difference between a wellspring of fresh water and a swamp. In the swamp, we find decay. In the pure spring, we find movement and life.
