Someone had left a big and beautiful apple on the table of the Master. The Master looked at the fruit, smiled and said:
"An Angel comes, brings you a gift or helps you and leaves. You do not know his name. You, too, should act in the same way.
"Love does not have much time to explain to you who She is or tell you Her Name. She is very busy, and for this reason, She leaves you a gift and departs.
"Love without having people know about it, and this will be beneficial for you as well. He who gives love does not need to speak about his love; and he who receives the love should not speak about it either. If someone loves - this should be his secret: nobody else should know about it.
"Sometimes you have the desire to explain to people how Love revealed Herself to you. Do not do that. Love does not want you to share with others that which She has revealed to you. If there is a need, She Herself will tell them.
"Jacob's weakness was not his love for Joseph but that he showed his love for him in the presence of Joseph's brothers. They did not need to know about it. This was his mistake.
"High-principled Love is selfless. You can love someone without him knowing it; otherwise Love loses this quality of selflessness. In this lies the difference between Divine Love and human love. It is difficult to observe the Law of the Unknown Love. This is attainable only by the Evolved Beings. Those who can keep this Law are a minority.
"When you love, be glad that you are fulfilling God's Will. The Law is as follows: if you say that you love, you will lose your Love. You will lose that which you treasure. Love hides; She will not allow Herself to be defiled. When you love, speak not about your love. As soon as you tell someone that you love him, immediately a conflict will occur.
"Keep the following rule: you cannot be happy as long as you do not love with the Unknown Love. I do not want you just to believe it. If you wish, test this out for one year: love without anyone knowing about it, and you will verily a truth.
"Be wellsprings that water may flow abundantly from you and quench the thirst of human souls without them knowing it."
