This is the official site of the White Brotherhood Society. The site is a successor of the original site of the WB Society (with language versions: BG, EN, RU, FR, DE, ES, GR, PL), which was developed mainly by Filip Filipov and Dimitar Kalev from 1996 to 2008. The construction started at the end of 2008, and the official launch was on 25/5/2009.
The project has set as its aim to include, for a start, the communication and introduction of the WB Society to the general public. At the following stage, probably will be developed functions, which will be oriented more closely towards the members of the WB Society. The site uses the modern web-based open source content management system Drupal (version 6). This will help to overcome some mainly technological restrictions, which the previous project has come upon, and to expand in the future without having serious problems of a technical character.
The chief coordinator of the project is Ivan Dzhedzhev, a member of the Steering Committee of the WB Society and Chairperson of the Internet Presentation Committee. The technical realization is performed by Vasil Vasilev, and Zhivko Stoilov works on the photographs. And last but not least, Zara has also helped to a great extent for this project to happen.
