Quotation from the Statute of the White Brotherhood Society:
18.1. The Steering Committee consists of 7 or 9 persons:
a chairperson, a deputy chairperson, a secretary and members;
a chairperson, a deputy chairperson, a secretary and members;
18.2. The Chairperson of the SC is also the Head of the BROTHERHOOD COMMUNITY in Sofia.
18.3. The Chairperson of the CRC and the chairpersons of the PC can participate in the work of the SC with a deliberative vote.
18.4. SC is given a mandate for 3 years.
18.5. When there are serious reasons, GM can discharge members of the SC before the expiration of the period they have been chosen for.
18.6. For members of SC, CRC and PC could be elected compеtent members of the Society having high moral qualities and organizing skills.
19. The SC is an executive organ of the GC, and as such has the following rights and obligations:
19.1. to coordinate and guide the spiritual work of the WHITE BROTHERHOOD Society
19.2. to work out a business and financial annual plan, and an annual report of the work of the Society, and to introduce them for approval at the GM;
19.3. to organize the implementation of the solutions of GM;
19.4. to manage the finances and properties of the WHITE BROTHERHOOD Society, and to render its management to the respective BROTHERHOOD COMMUNITIES (BC);
19.5. to take decisions about implementation of dispositions deals concerning the property of the WHITE BROTHERHOOD Society within the approved budget. The extra budgetary disposition deals are considered valid, only when there is a corresponding decision of GM about their implementation;
19.6. to keep the Society’s documentation, which is handed over, with an inventory, to the newly elected SC within 7 days after the election;
19.7. to organize temporary committees when it is necessary;
19.8. to authorize some of its members to be a public and media relation REPRESENTATIVE /spokesman/;
20. SC is called up for meetings by the Chairperson or the deputy 2 times a month at the very least, and it takes decisions by a simple majority with a quorum of ½ of its members.
