Through the left one is received the magnetic flow that has a connection with the solar plexus. It is called Solar flow. Through the right one is received the electrical flow that is called Moon flow. The first flow has a connection with the heart, and the second one with the mind. If we want to cultivate the heart more, we should inhale mainly through the left nostril and exhale through the right one. And when we want to cultivate the mind, we should inhale through the right nostril and exhale through the left one. On the one hand we make a balance between mind and heart, and on the other hand between electricity and magnetism. When we change the way of breathing – now through the left nostril, now through the right one, then we balance the two flows.
